The abstraction that the colors within the gem stone facets mesmierizes me.  I never get tired of painting them, or looking at them.  Your eye wanders within each stone to see how it is the sme yet different from all the other stones.  The diamonds unify and hold everything together.   Original Oil Painting 16" x 20" on Panel.
