Every song has a vibe and so do Paint Pops.  They remind me of when an Orchestra everyone strikes the same wonderful note, and the colors appear.  You can see and feel the energy, and it is delightful!

Paint Pop oil paintings take months to create.  Every weekend when I sit down to paint, the palette from the weekend before is rubbed into a painting that didn't make the grade.  I love the paint so much that I can't stand to throw any of it away.  Making a Paint Pop began as a method to keep my old paint in a way that just entertains the eye.  Sometimes I can look at the colors on the rubbing and remember what painting whose paint is ensconced here.
