My dear friend, Jill, sent me the most adorable Christmas card. I liked it so much, I turned it into a painting and gave it back to her the following year. The original card is still taped to the backing. I moved the boots back a little bit, because they were too close to the door opening. I really love the weathered texture on the door. Jill hangs this painting every holiday season.
