I had never been to South Beach in Miami before.  Had only seen it on TV and in photographs.  It was just as sensational as I had hoped it would be.  Because I was there on an overcast day, I admit that I made the sky a bit more blue than it was on my visit.  The way I wanted it to be that day.  I took this photo the same day that I took the South Beach Life Guard station.  That painting is in a home in Palm Beach today.  This vibrant remembrance of a trip to Florida to see family always makes me smile.  It was a joy and a pleasure to spend time with it!   Original is 11" x 14".
