When I saw these antique Christmas Ornaments for the first time, I was overwhelmed with memories of my Grandmother.  She and my Aunt Peg visited Frankenmuth, Michigan every year and both had huge ornament collections.  She's been gone for 20 years now, but I put many of her ornaments on my tree every year. Some of them are in boxes just like the one we see here in this painting.  The original  painting is 16" x 20".
