I was walking through New York City, to an appointment, on a beautiful Spring morning.  Cutting through a park to get there, I saw the most beautiful giant aliums lined up along a wrough iron fence.   Although I pushed them closer together for the sake of the painting, everything else about that morning is just the same.  The brilliance of the colors dancing on the tops of these outrageous flowers was too much to not capture.  This 16 x 20 original oil painting is a stand out if you enjoy city parks, early morning walks, or foliage that is just showing off.
