The veil between us thins when heaven is within reach. My loved ones are so close I can feel them. So why do I feel lonely? Why do I miss them? Do you walk with me? Just behind my shoulder? Do you whisper answers into my dreams? Do you comfort me why I cry? As we pass from one shore to the other we loose sight of each other for a time. But only for now.

These ladies came and sat next to me when I was at the beach, at Hilton Head Island.  I couldn't believe the gorgeous reflection that was right beneath them.  I snapped a photo with my phone and the reflection was gone.  

It was such a pleasure to do a painting of what I had seen and to add the thoughts that had been going through my head.
