Paint Pops take months to create. Every weekend when I sit down to paint, the palette from the weekend before is rubbed into a painting that didn't make the grade. I love the paint so much that I can't stand to throw any of it away. Making a Paint Pop began as a way that I could keep my old paint in a way that just entertains the eye. Sometimes I can look at the colors on the rubbing and remember what painting it came from.  Where I live is known for spectacular fall color.  This one was an fall leaves painting.
