Every morning the ladies in my family say good morning in a text chain.  We tell each other what we are doing and what we have planned for the day.  It often includes photos, like this one taken by my niece, Katie. She was out walking her dog, Ludo, and was so taken with the cherry blossoms outside of the DC area, that she had to send it to the family and let us share in the beauty.  She is right, it was so beautiful it needed to be painted! The original is 16" x 20" oil on canvas panel. It is very vibrant, and for me, captures a moment so good it needed to be shared.
